Welcome to Cat + Bear, Pet and Home Management services. We aim to manage your pet’s regular routine in the comfort of your home, with the same level of care and commitment as you do.

ABOUT US
Cat + Bear, Pet and Home Management, is a unique small business in the City of Cape Town. Founded by myself, Catherine, a qualified Interior Designer (Ndip, Btech) and Animal Behaviour student (COAPE), in February 2020. Working independently, to have a more flexible lifestyle, was the inspiration behind using the more than 15 years experience with animals, gathered alongside my previous endeavors.
The intention has always been to create a relatable brand that offers a professional experience between our clients and services offered. While forming a bond and catering to every pet we work with comes first, the communication and relationship fostered with our clients is just as important to us. It is a relationship built on trust and reliability. Our team consists of carefully selected, small group of like-minded, remote-working and experienced animal lovers.
We share the same values and respect towards the management of your pet’s regular routine in the comfort of your home, with the same level of care and commitment as you do.

SERVICES
Dog/s, Standard Stay-Over
This service accommodates up to 2 dogs, and dog/s that can be left alone for a few hours. Dog/s will be provided with their regular routine and company. Meal times, treats, fresh water, medication (if required), enrichment games, play time, quality time and walks are provided as instructed. Regular updates, indoor plant care and general home management are included. Cat/s are also included under this rate.
There is a Long and Short-Stay rate option for this service.
Dog/s, Added Stay-Over
This service accommodates more than 2 dogs; dogs who cannot be left alone or puppies that still need full-time supervision. Dog/s will be provided with their regular routine and company. Meal times, treats, fresh water, medication (if required), enrichment games, play time, quality time and walks are provided as instructed. Regular updates, indoor plant care and general home management are included. Cat/s are also included under this rate.
There is a Long and Short-Stay rate option for this service.
Cat/s, Stay-Over
This service provides cat/s with their regular routine and company. Meal times, treats, fresh water, litter box cleans, medication (if required), play time, quality time, supervised outdoor time and managing indoor/outdoor curfews will be provided as instructed. Regular updates, indoor plant care + general home management included.
There is a Long and Short-Stay rate option for this service.
Cat/s,Check-In
This service includes a once or twice p/day, 45-60min Check-In to provide meals, treats, fresh water, litter box cleans, medication (if required), play/quality time and supervised outdoor time.
Regular updates, indoor plant care + general home management included.
Dog/s Check-In/Walks
This service is offered on an Ad-Hoc basis and is suitable to break up your dog/s time alone or when your schedule is too busy for their regular routine. We only take private/individual or paired walks (no pack walks or regular walking packages). Walks are for 45-60mins, pick up and drop off time not included. Meal time or treats can be provided after walks on request. Water will always be checked and changed.

If you have a request for something that doesn’t fit our other services, please feel welcome to contact us about it for a custom quotation.
We are happy to try and accommodate alternative services regarding your pets or home. We have also provided assistance with vet visits, local pet transport, supervising dogs at wedding ceremonies and photoshoots and regularly offer plant care services too.
